STORY
A mix of indie and pop with influences from rock, surf and folk – that is Steven Cole & The Sandwich Life. Anyone who likes Weezer, Jimmy Eat World and The Kooks will appreciate the trio’s music.
The self-produced songs are an escape from the worries of everyday life and getting older. A kind of disciplined self-motivation to live life as it comes – and to enjoy every moment. Listeners are treated to rocking riffs, danceable beats and catchy hooks to sing along to.
Founded in 2013 as a singer/songwriter solo project by Steffen aka Steven Cole, the debut album How Life Can Turn saw the light of day in 2015. The follow-up On The Road was published in 2020.
Steffen (vocals/guitar), Christoph (bass/backing vocals) and René (drums) are currently working on their third album which will be released at the end of 2024. Heading from Aschaffenburg (DE), the band will be playing a bunch of shows this year to present the new singles Big Stars / Small Lights, Purple & Orange and Rocky Road.
